Born and raised in southern California, Sharon knew from the time she was a teenager that “home” would someday be beyond the coast. Inspired by the nostalgia of small-town living, she relocated when she was twenty-one to the Midwest in hopes of finding love, seasons, and a quiet, simple life. What a triple blessing to have experienced all three. Sharon spent more than twenty-one years building a marriage and a family before her husband passed away in 2018.

Sharon now resides on the outskirts of the Kansas City Metropolitan area with or near her two sons where she plans to continue writing and homeschooling her youngest son.  Although ‘quiet’ might not be the word to describe her life, she would not trade her experiences for anything. Her life of homeschooling, theatre, archery, life-seasons, and writing has stretched, strengthened, encouraged, and enriched her.

Sharon would say that her life has been characterized by stepping out in faith. From relocating half-way across the country on her own to walking cluelessly into the worlds of theatre and archery on her sons’ behalf to releasing her husband into the arms of Jesus following a journey with cancer, she has relied heavily on her Heavenly Father’s guidance and instruction. Through the ups and downs, joys and challenges of life, her overriding purpose and passion lie in the Lord and His word. The journey of writing is another step out in faith as she desires to share her deep love for the Lord and His Word, and encourage you to live your life deeply rooted in a relationship with Him. #LiveYourFaithBoldly
