It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

First of all, I want to say thank you to everyone who came out to events this year, and to the Heritage Holiday Mart this weekend. It is such a blessing to talk to readers and share these books God has allowed me to write. I truly hope the stories are a gift and a blessing to you. I’m reminded just how much I enjoy this and just how much I want to share all that God has put on my heart in the way of stories when I have a chance to talk with and hear from you. Your comments matter more than I can express. So, I thank you.

Second, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas here in the Tweet home. I’m actually decorating my tree for the first time in six years, but in a fresh new way. This is making me smile. I’ll post finished pics of my tree on Facebook later, so make sure you’re following me there.

As the year is wrapping up and I’m putting away my event boxes, I want to thank you for your support and encouragement through “likes” and “shares”, comments and reviews. Thank you for following along with me on this awkward journey of authorhood and widowhood. I’m still trying to find my footing and make some sense of the life God has in front of me, and you journeying alongside me is a boost beyond what words can express. So, again, thank you!

I hope you have a lovely Christmas and a fun and reflective New Year’s. More than anything, I pray that you know the love of Jesus in your heart and in your everyday. He is a gift for every day and every season. May His word be your grounding and your standard in this crazy world. And may you find joy and encouragement in the small things, like a book.

Keep reading, my friends, and keep encouraging your favorite authors. Have a very Merry Christmas!

Isaiah 9:6 KJV

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
